Rebirth cycle save the earth.
The Banana Green Gold Project will able to
help building up a Rebirth cycle that save the world.
This project strongly supports the efforts to increase banana production in the developing countries in Central America, which greatly depend on the banana industry. To this end, we built a pilot plantation, the Agriindustry, in Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica. The technique of making chemical-free paper and textiles demonstrates co-existence and co-prosperity between industry and agriculture. The fruit becomes food; stems become paper and cloth as alternative resources to timber; and huge leaves become CO2 absorbers, enabling the recovery of green areas and economic independence in developing nations. The project has already been launched in Central America. In August, 2001, two pilot plants for banana paper production were built in the Republic of Haiti, the poorest nation in the Western hemisphere. In May 2002, 12 trainees will come to Japan from Caribbean countries. |
